I went to clean up after a school party. Towards the end, she was sweeping the doormat so hard that at the end, I think I heard her say "hay lido"; and then moments later "lido" and moments later "lido". I thought she said she was tired or dizzy because she was really getting very low to take out the dirt in between those deep crevices on the doormat. What does she mean? I tried "nido" or "mido" but does not seem to get the meaning. please help. The closest I could get could be "mido" which means she has a magic touch because we really cleaned up a mess. But her facial expression does not match relief or accomplishment. Or could be she was saying that we needed a leader? in which it would be "lido". Or could she be meaning that I should hand her over the 'dustpan', which could be a 'basin' translation for "lido", that I was holding to collect the collected trash that she swept?
