I took the practice quiz for the lesson called: Direct Object Pronoun Placement. I came across a phrase, and I cannot understand why I got it wrong.
I had to translate this phrase, ¿Vas a comer (el jamón)? and replace "el jamon" with a direct object pronoun.
As I understand, when you have two verbs in a sentence, you can either place the direct object pronoun before the first verb or add it to the end of a verb.
Voy a hacerla. / La voy a hacer. (I am going to do it.)
For the question, I wrote: ¿Lo vas a comer? and it was wrong. It should be ¿Vas a comerlo?
Can someone explain this to me?
