Trataba de traducir una frase en español para practicar usar (o escribir) frases mesuradas y comedidas como una forma de humor. ¡Me doy cuenta de que un sentido de humor es una cualidad muy subjetiva que varía mucho entre culturas diferentes y especialmente entre individuales de una cultura particular!
Por eso, yo tendría mucho interés en conocer las respuestas de nativos hispanohablantes, en relación con que consideran esta frase divertida (graciosa) y si no, ¿por qué?

I was trying to translate a sentence into Spanish in order to practise using understatement as a form of humour! I realize that a sense of humour is a very subjective quality that varies greatly between different cultures and especially between individuals of a particular culture!
I would therefore greatly welcome feedback, from native spanish speakers as to (regarding) whether you consider this sentence funny, and if not, why?!

He had to admit, after all was said and done, that crashing his wife’s brand new car into their house probably wasn’t his finest hour! hahaha
¡(Él) Tuvo que admitir, después de decir y hacer todo, que chocar con su casa en el flamante coche de su esposa probablemente no fue el mejor momento de su vida! jajaja
