I was studying today and got to a lesson that describes the use of Está, and I am confused by something.
For instance, in the sentence "Está fuera de la casa", the translation is "He is outside of the house." But no where in that sentence do I see anything identifying the gender of the person being spoken of. Is it just presumed, or how does that work? What if the sentence were referring to a woman?
Thank you for the help.
