Hi! I have been studying Spanish with the "help" of Rosetta Stone. As far as I know les is just the plural form of le, right? I also understand that se is an impersonal pronoun. So statements such as, "se puede ir," and "se habla Espanol" make sense to me. But I am seeing se used in other ways that don't make sense. I don't understand the point of the words le, les and se. It seems like they are just throw into sentences for no reason.
For example ?Le diste la bicicleta a tu hermana? (You gave your bike to your sister?) seems like it would me the same thing without the word le. ?Diste la bicicleta a tu hermana? (You gave your bike to your sister?) right?
I've gone over the descriptions as well as examples of these words in sentences from this wen site and I still don't get it. Thanks for your help!
