So I am writing about Border Spanish for one of my classes, and in it I am also needing to mention "border English," which I want to describe as the "flip side" of border Spanish (basically instead of English influencing Spanish, it's Spanish influencing English). I tried the machine translator, but all it gave me was "cara B," which doesn't strike me as being very professional sounding. I know "el opuesto" and "lo contrario" are options, but the idea doesn't strike me as opposites exactly, rather as something going hand in hand, just in different directions. Any suggestions? Maybe "cara B" really wouldn't sound as corny to natives as it sounds to me, but even "la otra cara" sounds better to me than "cara B," but I don't know if that would make sense. Thanks for the help!
