This is from "Lloro Por Ti" by Enrique Iglesias
Lloro por ti Soñando que lo nuestro tiene algun remedio Lloro por ti ......
So, "Soñando que lo nuestro tiene algun remedio", would literally mean " Dreaming - that - it (direct object) - our - it has - some - remedy"
That doesn't make sense at all. I know it is translated as " Dreaming that it has some remedies for us". But how does work? Shouldn't it be "Soñando que tiene algun remedio para nosotros" ?
Why add nuestro (a possessive pronoun/ possessive adjective)? Is "lo nuestro" understood as "our thing (it)"? So the sentence is understood as " Dreaming that our thing (it) has some remedy?
Thanks for answering.
