I am trying to answer a question of what i would do as president of the US using the conditional tense. Is this correct usage?
As president of the United States I would raise minimum wage. I would reset our country’s priorities to help alleviate domestic poverty and hunger. I would provide funding to education so it could thrive. I would cut the salary of Congress. I would also raise the salary for deployed soldiers and put more money into Social Security.
Como presidente de los Estados Unidos me aumentaría el salario mínimo. Me restablecería las prioridades de nuestro país para ayudar a aliviar la pobreza doméstica y el hambre. Me proporcionaría fondos a la educación para que pudiera prosperar. Me reduciría el sueldo del Congreso .
