Hi everyone, I have a few questions about saying sorry in Spanish.
1) Lo siento means I am sorry. Me siento also means sorry. Why do people put the "Lo" in from of siento?
2) If I wanted to say we are sorry, would I say "nos sentimos" or "Lo sentimos" and why?
3) If I wanted to say I am sorry for him, would I say "Se lo siento para él" because le lo urns to se lo and para él is to clarify who since se could mean she or he. Or would it be "Le me siento para él"? I don't think it would be "Le me" because indirect object pronouns are used when a person is giving something to someone else.
4) Is there any sentence you can think that uses two indirect object pronouns in a row before the conjugated verb? Maybe "I left you because I could not wait any longer", "Te me fue porque no podía esperar más tiempo"? Irse means to leave, and fue is the preterite/past tense of ir.
