I want to say: A lot of people and I think that the pizza is delicious.
I would say: "Mucha gente y yo creemos que la pizza es deliciosa"
But I noticed translations saying: Mucha gente y yo creo que la pizza es deliciosa.
I don't think to conjugate a verb you only use the subject before the verb. I think if it was me and a bunch of people, I would use the nosotros/we form of a verb right?

I'm about to live in Quito for a year with a hosting family and I'm trying to figure out some phrases, that I could use to organize the first couple days with them.
One thing I would like to ask is if I should call them, if I'm running 20 minutes late. Unfortunately I have just a really basic understanding of Spanish. So I know that it should be conditional like that, but I'm not sure.
Should I call you, if I'm running 20 minutes late?

I keep hearing a word in Spanish that sounds like the English word, "vehicle" or "veicca"- but the way it's used in context, it seems to be an insult. Can anyone help me with this word? I've tried to look it up online, but haven't been successful.

I would say: Sospecho de que pienses que yo soy culpable. Sospechar tells me to use subjunctive for pensar. Pensar tells me to use indicative for Ser.

Are these assumptions correct? Or is there a special rule for when I use:
1) The first verb indicates subjunctive for all verbs that follow it regardless of how many "que" there are
2) Indicative + que + Subjunctive verb + que + _____. Not sure what should go in blank.

I am doing a translation of a sentence: Mr Barros is going to hire Tomas.
I initially put: A Tomás le va a contratar el señor Borras.
And from what I understand, when a person is a DO and masculine you can use le/lo. In the answer key it indicates with a le/lo if you can use either in the translation, but in this case they just put Lo: A Tomás lo va a contrator el señor Borras.
Is my answer correct? Or must lo be used for this sentence in particular.

So I am looking at examples of hasta on spanishdict's dictionary page and I am wondering if this specific example is incorrect grammatically. I learnt that hasta is used with the infinitive only with the same subject or used with que + subjunctive when there is not the same subject. I would insert screenshots of the two sentences, but I do not know how to.
1) My boyfriend makes me laugh until I cry. Spanishdictionary: Mi novio me hace reír hasta llorar. Shouldn't it be Mi novio me hace reír hasta que lloro? My boyfriend is the first subject. The second subject is me. Putting Spanishdict's translation into the translator doesn't quite make sense either which makes me even more suspicious that it is wrong.

I noticed that whenever I'm watching Spanish speakers get ready to explain something or talk in a court case or a talk show, they start off their sentence with "Ete..." holding the 'e' at the end for a while before they gather their words. What does this mean? Is this supposed to be the Spanish equivalent of "umm"? Is this a regional thing? I believe it has been mostly Cubans I hear using this.
I know there's not much to make of it, but it's just been bugging me.

Hi, I have registered for the DELE A2 exam on July 15th. I have taken one year of Spanish in college and two weeks in Mexico. Hi, I'm studying negative informal commands, and there is one verb that is confusing me: Burlarse, which means to tease or mock someone. In the SpanishDict dictionary section, they give an example of its use in a negative informal command: ¡No te burles de mí! Don't make fun of me! I am wondering why it is not "No me burles." I got it wrong on the grammar quiz too. The correct answer is "No te burles de los pobres." I put "No se burles de los pobres." Can anyone clarify. I am treating it like a reflexive verb because of the "se" ending, but maybe it's not? Thank you.

The si clause rule for conditional is: conditional + si + imperfect subjunctive or imperfect subjunctive + si + conditional. I want to translate this sentence into Spanish: What could the boy buy if his mother says, "Do not spend more than ten dollars"?
I think it is like this mostly because it sounds better: ¿Qué podría comprar el chico si su madre dice que, "No gastes más de diez dólares"?
But I think the rule tells me that I have to use dijeran (imperfect subjunctive) instead of dice (present). What would you guys say and why?
