Is there a Spanish phrase which means "you've made my day" ? the translator says "Has hecho mi día" but that sounds awfully clumsy. Feel sure the Spanish have something special for this sentiment!

Jun 06 - Se le fueron...
I'm having a hard time figuring out what "se" means, in all it's different manifestation. Here is a phrase: "Todos se cansaron de sus desplantes y fanfarronadas, y se le fueron corriendo con el tiempo."
Regarding "... se le fueron corriendo...", "le" is an indirect object, but the indirect object always comes first, if I understand the rules. Also, the indirect object indicates "to" someone/something, or maybe "from".
Q1: Isn't "le" an indirect pronoun? Q2: Why is it following "se", rather than coming first? Q3: Am I trying to translate something that is not translatable? Q4: What does this phrase mean?

I understand that "vamos" and "vámanos" are used meaning "let's go". What I don't understand is why the imperative "vayamos" isn't used.
Why don't we say "vayamos"?

Jun 07 - Last part: ways to say forget
Before I ask my question, I just want to say a big thank you to all of you who helped me with parts one and two of ways to say forget. Anyways, I know there are easier ways to say this, but do these make sense for "I will forget them by the next time we go" (them= directions) or "I will have forgotten them by the next time we go":
Voy a olvidármelas por la próxima vez vamos.
Voy a habérmelas olvidado por la próxima vez vamos.
Voy a haberlas olvidado por la próxima vez vamos.
Voy a olvidarlas por la próxima vez vamos.
Va a olvidárselas por la próxima vez vamos.

Jun 07 - Por/Para recipients
It is in my understanding that para is used for recipients, of things and actions. However, I've seen sentences which imply recipients that use por. They are receiving actions, even if it is not directly. I am not sure if these are wrong.
Here are some examples:
Paso por ti a las ocho. (I'll stop by for you at 8) No voté por nadie. (I didn't vote for anyone.) Fui al supermercado por mi madre porque ella estaba enferma. ( I went to the supermarket for my mother because she was sick) La firmo por Ud. I sign it for you
I've read somewhere that por is used when doing something on someone's behalf. But if they are recieving the action, how is that not a recipient? It seems really arbitrary. Another example, I expected this to be "por" because they are doing the act on another person's behalf:
Las mujeres se lanzan fuera de los edificios para los chicos. (The women throw themselves off buildings for the boys.)

Jun 07 - The verb 'gustar'?

At #3, you will see that gustar can be a transitive verb. The example sentence to support it is "¿Les gustaría algo más?" but being a transitive verb means needing a direct object to complete the sentence.
But the example is literally translated as "to you(formal plural), would something else be pleasing?" There is no direct object. The 'les' is absolutely an indirect object.
So, the gustar is still a intransitive verb like in #1 and #2. I wonder how it can be a transitive verb.
Can someone explain?

I have been reading some articles in Spanish and I find it hard to get what the sentence is conveying whenever the verbs Quedar and Haber (well, two of the many verbs) are used. I know Quedar means to be left, to stay or to remain and Haber is to have but I think those are not always the case.

I was wondering if someone could help me proofread the questions on my project. The project is about my trip to Nigeria, if there is a major fix to a sentence please leave a small explanation if possible thank you. I need at least 20 examples of the preterit and 5 examples of the imperfect.
En mis vacaciones yo viaje a Nigeria. Yo viaje con mi hermano, mi madre y mi padre. Yo viaje durante el verano. Mi padre compraba el boleto para cualquier viaje.
Para vacacion mi familia y yo lleno de ropa y dinero. Para mis vacaciones mi familia llena un montón de ropa, principalmente camisetas y pantalones cortos. Cuando llegué en el avión no pido un lugar específico en el plano. Para el plano me lleno yo mismo mi laptop para el largo trayecto y aperitivos. Para subir en el avión sólo tenía que pasar por seguridad.
El vuelo de América a Nigeria tomó cerca de siete horas. Llegué a Nigeria a las dos de la mañana, estaba muy cansado y era muy caliente. El tiempo en Nigeria es extremadamente caliente y seco la transición muy dura. Durante mi viaje me quedé con mi tía por la mitad del tiempo y la otra mitad la pasó en un hotel enorme. Personalmente me pareció el hotel para ser un mucho mejor lugar para alojarse pero familia siempre es divertido también.
Cuando visité Nigeria jugó al golf, nadó y comió alimentos nuevos fue muy divertido. Algunos de los lugares que visité incluyen Lagos, Abuja y el centro comercial más grande en Nigeria.
Durante mi estancia en Nigeria comí mucho arroz, que es un alimento muy antiguo y tradicional de mi pueblo. Durante mi tiempo en Nigeria tengo otra oportunidad de conocer a mis primos que no había visto durante años, fue muy divertido y agradable. Salí de Nigeria el 11 de junio.
