I recently started learning Spanish in school and I am also doing some additional work from homel. I've a monologue to prepare for next week and I got questions regarding a few sentences I've made for the monologue (oral).
(it's regarding my study) 1. Me gusta IBS, porque me gusta encontrarme nueva personas de diferentes nacionalidades, pero espaniol es dificilísimo.
Me gusta mi amiga muchísimo. (is muchísimo used for these espressions or just keep it mucho?)
Vivo en (name) con mi padre y también en (name) con mi madre.(my parents are seperated)
That's it, anyone here who is able to help me?

Jun 14 - Two subjects with gustar
If I wanted to say "My sister and my mom like pizza and chicken", where would I need the personal "a"?
A mi hermana y a mi madre le gusta la pizza y el pollo.
1) Would I need the "a" before "mi madre"?
2) Would I need the "el" before "pollo"? I looked on some sites and it said to use gusta with two nouns for simplicity because the second "le gusta" is hidden before "el pollo": A mi hermana y a mi madre le gusta la pizza y (le gusta) el pollo", so could I omit the "el" before pollo? A simple yes or no for if I need el or not before pollo will be a good enough answer. I know that I need articles before nouns after gustar. Just looking if omitting an article is grammatically correct or not if I wanted to shorten this sentence.
I know that when I want to say Me and my family like pizza and chicken, I would say: "A mi familia y a mí nos gusta la pizza y el pollo". So does the "a" go before every subject?

Hi everyone,
I'm writing a flyer and I was wondering what kind of tense I would need to use, present indicative or present subjunctive?
For example, if I was inviting people to come to an event, would I say "por favor, vengas a la reunion", or "por favor, vienes"
Also, is there a way to say "statewide" in Spanish?

Jun 15 - Are different Spanish adverb types normally mixed?
What I know:
Some Spanish adverbs can have up to three 'types": one, normally just the masculine form of the adjective, eg "rápido"; the second the feminine form of the adjective plus the -mente suffix, eg "rápidamente"; and the third "con + noun", eg "con cuidado" (I wasn't sure if "con rapidez" was a valid example ).
When two -mente adverbs follow a verb the first adverb loses the -mente suffix. eg "Ella respiraba lenta y profundamente."
What I don't know:
When two adverbs follow a verb, can they be of mixed type, and if so is it commonly done?
And, if the adverbs can be of mixed type, and the first is a -mente form, does it still lose that suffix?
Below are some examples for the above. I've arranged them in what I'm guessing is best to worst order but would appreciate corrections/comments.
Ella habla lenta y claramente
Ella habla lento y claro
Ella habla lento y con claridad
Ella habla lenta y con claridad

Jun 15 - Now as a filler word at beginning of sentence in Spanish
I use "now" occasionally as a filler as in the following: "Now, while we are on the subject...""Now you know that's not true...""Now you know this is important. .." In Spanish, I've learned about muletillas but I'm not sure what to use here, if anything. Could it be "ya" or "entonces"? I can't find anything on this.

Jun 15 - Así and a follow-up question on Quedar
Sorry to bother you guys again.I have an example of how 'Quedar' was used in a sentence which I find hard to connect with it's few meanings(to be left , to remain, to be left over, to plan to meet and to suit ). Also, may I ask how 'Así' works. All i know is it means like this or like that.
Example:

if you were asking a rather general, rhetorical type question on a flyer, would you use the infinitive or usted indicative?
For example. the title of the flyer is "Do you ride the bus?"
Would it just be "viaja en autobus?"
"do you have ideas to make it better?" = "tenga ideas para mejorarlo?"
idk why this is sounding awkward, let me know if I'm missing something?

I was reading in this short story; "Jaque Mate En Dos Jugadas" by the Argentine author (W. I. Eisen) and I encountered this sentence; "¡Me cortaría los víveres!" . . .
In the story I read, the full paragraph goes like this;
"-Yo lo Haría - siguió entre dientes- ; pero, ¿con qué viviríamos? Ya sabes cómo es el viejo... Duro, implacable. ¡Me cortaría los víveres!" lines 31-33
I will thankful if you can guide me to the meaning and of this phrase! I did some research and I found out that some people used another expression: "me cortaron los víveres"

Jun 16 - 'Head of water' or 'level of water'
I'd like to know whether Spanish has a translation for 'head of water' rather than 'level of water'. In English the meaning is slightly different e.g. in a river or lake you have a level of water but in a reservoir or cistern you have a head of water because it indicates that the water will be released under gravity for some purpose. (the more 'head' the more pressure). Can anyone help?

I've come across another saying that I can't seem to translate to my liking. Here is the context of the conversation (from Extra Ep. 2):
Lola and Ana enter during a conversation between Pablo and Sam
Pablo: (To the girls) Sam me preguntaba que se tiene que poner.
Lola: No no no no... ¡Sam, no escuches a Pablo! ¡Escúchame a mí! ¿Hm?
Sam: OK
Lola: (to Sam) Necesitas ropas de diseño como...(some visual imagery)
Ana: ¡Sam! ¡Eso no te va!
Ana: Necesitas un estilo vaquero como...(some more visual imagery)
...
So obviously Ana, Lola, and Pablo are arguing about their opinions about Sam's style of dress.
